Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you provide an additional day and time for rehearsal?
    A ceremony rehearsal can be hosted on a prior day if additional time is rented. A 2-hour rehearsal time can be rented during the week (Monday thru Thursday) to conduct a walk thru for your event. Additional time can be added for $150 per hour. If your event is the next day, you can rent until midnight and do all your decorating and set up the night before. Weekday rehearsal time is subject to availability and must be included when original contract is signed.
  • When do we have access to the Bridal Suite?
    You have access to the Bridal Suite during the entire rental period. We are not set up for overnight stays.
  • How much time his allowed for set-up and clean-up?
    Day of set up time will begin when your rental time starts. All Items must be removed by the end of the rental period at 11:00 PM.
  • Will you tentatively hold my event date?
    We do not hold dates on a tentative basis. Your date will be reserved once the contract has been signed and an initial deposit received.
  • What is the payment schedule?
    An initial non-refundable deposit of $1000 for weddings and $100 for weekday parties/events is due at contract signing. The remainder of the wedding package price will be due no later than 30 days before your event date. However, you may make monthly or incremental payments along the way. If you decide to cancel your event, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • What if something comes up and I have to move my date?
    As long as it is more than 45 days before the event date, we will allow for ONE date change to another date using the same deposit.
  • Can you recommend any local vendors?
    Yes, we have some business cards for vendors that have been to the venue and performed well.
  • Does Pritchard's Barn offer audio/video equipment?
    We currently do not offer equipment, but it will be a future service available.
  • Are tents included in the price?
    No, we do not offer the option of a tent in our equipment. If you would like to rent a tent we can direct you to a local vendor. However, due to set up and takedown schedules of the venders, and multiple weddings per weekend, you would be required to rent a full weekend in order to set up an outdoor tent.
  • Do you provide day coordination?
    We do not provide the kind of step by step attention of set up labor of a professional coordinator. We do recommend hiring a planner or coordinator, particularly if you are coming from out of town.
  • Does Pritchard's Barn provide wedding cakes?
    No, we do not provide the wedding cake. There are several great vendors in our community who do specialize in this service.
  • Do we have to clean up after the event?
    For a fee, we provide clean-up of the barn after the event with the rental price. We will wipe tables, sweep and mop floors, clean restrooms and dressing areas, and haul off trash. Clean up of the kitchen and items used would need to be provided by the caterer.
  • What is in the kitchen that we can use?
    We provide a fully stocked kitchen that includes, refrigerator, stove and oven, sink, microwave, and prep table. We provide dish cloths, dish towels, paper towels, and dish liquid. There are multiple items in the cabinets that you can use also. *The kitchen should be left clean, and any dishes borrowed should be washed and placed back where it belongs.
  • What amenities are available at Pritchard's Barn for use during business events?
    • Full finished concrete floors in the reception area. • Different lighting options (bright or elegantly dim). • Farmhouse Table Styled Seating for 150-200 guests. • 13 round tables (3 of these are more oval than round), 6 rectangle tables, and 5 long rectangle tables) • Antique Serving tables and whiskey barrel island. • Wagon Wheel Chandeliers throughout the Barn and Reception Area. • Room of Decorations provided at no extra cost with the rental. Plenty of Room for Breakout groups and Activities (Inside and Out)
  • Do you allow decorations?
    Yes, we welcome flowers, centerpieces, battery powered candles, and lighting. Decorations can be hung on the walls using push pins at levels easily reached. We do not allow decorations hung from the rafters for safety reasons.
  • What kind of music is permitted?
    Our facility is open to all types of music from live performances, DJ’s, or you may use our speaker with your phone/device and play your own music. Music is permitted until 11PM on weekdays at reasonable levels no more than 85 decibals.
  • May we bring in an outside caterer?
    Yes, you may bring in any outside vendors that you choose. Pritchard’s Barn does not restrict caterer, DJ, photographers, or event planners that you can use.
  • Can we bring alcohol?
    Pritchard’s Barn is a non-alcoholic venue.
  • How do guests know where to park?
    For a fee, we will have one or two parking attendants directing traffic as guests arrive.
  • Can my dog be in the ceremony and reception?
    Since we have other farm animals on the property, we must restrict animals coming to events to service animals only.
  • What types of business events can be hosted at the Pritchard's Barn property?
    Pritchard's Barn offers a great backdrop for hosting not only weddings, but also meetings, luncheons, company training and workshops, company picnics, team building retreats, fundraisers, and galas, and makes a great location for off-site workspaces too when needed.
